Working with LEGO

This week is EU Code Week

We are having fun coding with LEGO

 

 We made some really nice LEGO creations this morning.

Look at our wonderful house.

 We made a trophy!

 I made a LEGO police car!

 Here we are working on our robotics!

 We are getting good at coding/programming now.

 When we ran out of LEGO some of us made really interesting creations, with a construction barn set and with magnets.

We love constructing things and we love programming.

We are having fun coding with LEGO

We had our first LEGO robotics class today.  We are well used to LEGO and we are well able to build lots of exciting things with LEGO, but today for the first time we learned how to code....how to program our LEGO to move and make sounds

We worked in groups.

Teacher showed us how to get the motor and axle working and we helped each other to follow her directions.

We did all our own coding or programming, and added in our own sounds as well as the basic movement.

We also had a chat about natural disasters.

Maybe we can make and then programme a robot that can help with natural disasters.

We are really looking forward to doing more work with our robotics!

So proud of our Lego league teams

On Tuesday 4th of May, our class took part in Junior First Lego League in the Radisson. We worked very hard to make a trolley that pushes itself for our Super Seniors!! We made a very innovative shop also. The children were interviewed and took part in a disco afterwards. Everyone had lots of fun and all children should be very proud of themselves
